Wednesday 14/10 18:00-21:00: Mixed media & Experimentation
Experiment with lino by mixing in other drawing and painting tools, different kinds of paper and patterns, and other techniques like collage and mono printing! This one is all about playing around and finding fun things to do with lino. All materials are provided, but please feel free to bring any drawing tools or old magazines you'd like to use!
Thursday 29/10 18:00-21:00: Folklore & Storytelling
Surrounded by the 'Folklore' exhibition at Agora, we'll be taking inspiration from traditional artwork and stories to create our prints. All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring along any inspo of your favourite folk tales or art for reference!
Wednesday 11/11 18:00-21:00: Composition & Depth
Learn useful techniques to design visually interesting and balanced compositions and create a sense of depth using lino printing! We will go over some basic design principles that can help highlight the most visually important parts of a print, and create depth without losing visual clarity. All materials are provided for this workshop!
Wednesday 25/11 18:00-21:00: 'Jigsaw' Colour Printing
Learn how to use the 'jigsaw' lino cutting technique in order to make multi-colour prints! This technique allows you to separate the lino plate into sections, and use different ink colours for each area of the print. All materials are provided for this workshop!
Wednesday 9/12 18:00-21:00: Lino Holiday Cards
Create a card design, and print a batch of matching cards to give out to friends & fam! It'll be a chill workshop to close out the year, and a great way to do some gifts prep ahead of the holidays <3 All materials are provided for this workshop!
